Older Legacy Voice Mail Instructions

New Mailbox Users:

Your initial password will be the last two digits of your telephone number, plus the # sign.

Once you get inside the system, press (1) to walk through the voice mail with the automated voice.  She will assist you in setting up your mailbox and greeting.  You may change your password at this time.

>From Home:

Press *98.  Enter your password followed by the # sign.

Away From Home:

Dial your telephone number. When voice mail answers.  Press * then enter your password plus the # sign.

MENU:

33: To Retrieve a deleted message.
47: To record a greeting.
63: To record a message.
66: Memo minder, to send a message anytime.
72: To change your password (4 - 8 digits).
73: To review messages.
84: Current time.

More On Menu Choice 47: To Record A New Greeting:

47 0 = Mailbox Name
47 1 = Today’s Greeting
47 2 = Default Greeting

· GREETINGS
     (1) Select Greeting
     (2) Take message request
** (3) Record
     (4) Review Recordings

** Press the # sign when done talking, press (2) after you have recorded the message (to listen to yourself).

More On Menu Choice 72: To Change Your Password:

A password can be between 4 and 8 digits.  Follow the instructions, followed by the # key after each entry.

More On Menu Choice 73: To Review Messages:

  1. Save.
  2. Erase.
  3. Replay.
  4. Time received.
  5. Append speech.  (To record a message in front of a received message).
  6. Forward.  (To another mailbox. Mailbox Number is the 7 digit telephone number. E.g. "6230123#")
  7. Rewind 4 seconds.
  8. Pause.
  9. Jump ahead 4 seconds.

To Change The Number Of Rings:

Pick up your phone, dial *93.  You will hear three (3) confirmation beeps.  (You have just deactivated the existing number of rings).  Hang up.

Pick up your phone again, dial, *92.  You will hear one (1) or two (2) beeps.  Dial the number (on your keypad) of how many rings you want.  Then dial that exchange (XXX-9901, with either 623, 664, 721, or 758).

When the voice mail answers, hang up.

You may have between two (2) and eight (8) rings.  Example: *92--4 (rings) --623-9901.
